Sales Analytics Project with Indianapolis Indians
Sports Innovation Institute faculty and students analyzed historical data to predict ticket sales, renewals, and packages. Types of businesses, advertising budget, annual sales, number of employees, and additional data points were studied.
Non-significant factors were identified, as well as trends worth noting within other categories. Findings were presented to help the Indianapolis Indians better understand their stakeholders and renewal factors. Data shared also informed ticket sale practice in terms of optimum number of contacts, associated costs, and sale renewability.
Additional research proposals beyond the scope of this project related to specific market sectors, sale amounts, growth potential, and retention were presented.
